COMMITTEE CONTINUES WORK ON ALTERNATE SHIFTING

Bargaining resumed on October 14th and 15th in Prince George.

The USW Bargaining Committee continues to deal with changes
to the alternate shift scheduling language in the proposed Conifer
collective agreement.

The USW Bargaining Committee continues to remain strong on
the principles that would be necessary to make alternate shift
scheduling language acceptable to union members.

The Employer expressed additional concerns and questions
regarding alternate shift scheduling principles, however they did
not provide formal response to the USW Bargaining Committee.

Bargaining is scheduled to resume on October 19th in Prince
George.
