BARGAINING RESUMES IN PRINCE GEORGE

Negotiations between the Steelworkers and Council on Northern Interior Forest Employment Relations (CONIFER) will resume September 14th in Prince George, BC.

Bargaining came to an abrupt halt on August 19th when Employer Negotiators left the Bargaining table.

Numerous collective agreements in British Columbia covering about 9,000 members in the Northern and Southern Interior expired June 30, 2009.
